The fifth edition of Coudenberg Sound Box Fest celebrated the human voice in all its forms. Highlights included the prestigious Il Gardellino with glass harmonist Thomas Bloch, Utopia's tribute to the court of Charles V, and a grand finale by Philippe Pierlot & Ricercar Consort exploring Spanish Baroque treasures. The program featured an eclectic mix, from the nocturnal melodies of Sofie Vanden Eynden to the "folk-pop" of Las Lloronas and the innovative duo of Naomi Berrill & Francesca Benetti.

This milestone edition also expanded its horizons by launching the first NextGen competition and training days for young musicians, a conference on Brussels' musical history with the KCB, and the Cubiculum Musicae, a cutting-edge sound and video installation produced by the CNRS.
